Our History & Locations

Herculaneum - 63048

The Herculaneum RE/MAX Best Choice location, founded in 2001 as our first franchise, serves as a central hub for our operations. The Overberg Team now operates from this location, and it also houses our training facilities, including Best Choice Real Estate School, which provides education for individuals seeking a real estate license. Conveniently situated between Festus Ford and Sapaugh Motors on the outer road of I-55, this location offers excellent visibility and accessibility. Motto Mortgage Tried & True is also located at this office, providing added convenience for our clients.

Festus - 63028

Our Festus location was originally built by Deb and Dennis Mehler in 2002. In October 2003, Deb retired and sold the building to us, establishing our second office. Shortly after, RE/MAX Countryside merged into RE/MAX Best Choice, with all Countryside agents continuing their work with us. Since then, our Festus office has grown from 10 to over 30 agents and has consistently remained the top-producing office in Jefferson County. The building also houses several tenants who provide convenient services for our clients, including real estate, title, insurance, and lending—all in one location.

St. Louis - 63128

Our St. Louis County office, opened in July 2006, is a testament to persistence and excellence. After a two-year project navigating zoning and construction, this location launched right as one of the toughest real estate markets hit—but we not only survived, we thrived. Today, our office continues to flourish, serving clients with top-tier real estate expertise. Conveniently located with multiple tenants offering real estate, title, insurance, and lending services, everything you need is right at your fingertips. Farmington - 63640

Our Farmington office originally opened in Desloge in 2008 and later that year moved to its permanent location in Farmington, prominently visible from Hwy 67. This fourth office began with a phone call from Amy Connell asking, “Would you consider opening an office in Farmington?” The timing was perfect, and we welcomed many top-producing agents who continue to thrive with us today. This office has grown to 20 full-time professionals who hold a significant presence in the southern market. While we deeply miss Amy, who passed after a courageous battle with breast cancer, we are forever grateful for her role in introducing RE/MAX Best Choice to St. Francois County.
